AVELING's WA White Card (formerly Blue Card) online training is the easy and flexible way to get onsite quickly. The course is interactive and filled with practical examples and animations which reinforce the content.
The Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996 set out mandatory requirements for the provision of construction safety induction training.
By taking AVELING's White Card course, you can be confident our thorough training and assessment strategies will give you the knowledge and skills to stay safe at work. The course assists employers to fulfil their duty of care requirements to employees, by providing comprehensive induction training.
Please note: Participants completing the Nationally Recognised White Card Course must complete a verbal assessment in order for their White Card to be issued. Please allow additional time for processing to avoid disappointment.

From 1 January 2015 if you are undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation you will need to have a reference number called a Unique Student Identifier (USI). More information is available at www.usi.gov.au.

On successful completion participants will receive a WA White Card (next business day*) and a Statement of Attainment for the Unit of Competency.

Does the White Card expire?
No, White Cards (and older Blue Cards) do not expire.
However, employers have the discretion to require employees to redo the training, which ensures employers are meeting their duty of care requirements.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The course features RPL assessments allowing you to skip content you already know. You can take a test at the beginning of each topic and depending on the outcome, you can skip part or all of the content in that topic.
Verbal Assurance Audit and Assessment
This Nationally Recognised eLearning courses requires a verbal assurance audit and verbal assessment to be successfully completed, in order to finalise the course. The assurance audit is designed to ensure participant's identity and confirm they did the course themselves. The verbal assessment will ask questions relating to the course content you undertook.
The whole process takes about 5 to 10 minutes and can be completed in person or over the phone. If a participant fails the assurance audit and/or assessment, they may be required to re-do the course.
The assurance audit/assessment must be completed within 12 months of finishing the online course.
